Anyone creating pictorial eBooks?

Aloha,

Just curious to see if anyone out there has done any work or had experience creating eBooks for their photography work.  I'm not looking for someone to hire or anything, just checking to see if anyone out there has gone through the creation/distribution process once or twice, or knows someone who has.

I'm not referring to those how-to books or ones that are readily available in the Kindle Store or the iBookstore.  Those tend to be more text-driven anyway.  What I had in mind was something more like a portfolio, or a pictorial of sorts.

I recently put one together for images I created on the iPad and ended up creating an eBook in PDF format using Pages (for the Mac).  It's named Maui by Poster and I was looking to see if anyone had stories of doing something similar with their own work.
