Todd was here...at 7:45 PM HST and 9:45 PST
It was a beautiful day here and the high clouds gave us a wonderful evening sky with shades of red, white and blue. Like the inside ceiling at that shopping mall at Aladdins in Las Vegas. Follow that with a full moon coming up over the mountains with a blend of the high clouds to definately make a priceless picture.

Just checking in and say hi and aloha to everyone. Leave messages for everyone is fun!

The last 24 hours has been a nightmare with all of the fires. Thursday was the Santa Barbara fire,Friday was beginning of the Tea Fire in Sylmar which is still now and has claimed at least 600 homes, condos, apartment complexes and one hospital.
Today was the beginning of the Corona,Yorba Linda,Brea,Anaheim Hills, city of Anaheim fires and looks like they will join up with the Santa Ana Canyon fire to make one big hugh firestorm, just a wall of flames to the ocean. Hot ashes are raining down on Long Beach and Santa Catalina Island. We fear it's going to be a very long night for our family and friends that lives in those areas. Two of my friends has already lost their homes today.
Does Hawaii get fires like this too?
Todd was here...10:30pm Hawaiian Time and 12:30am California Time
Well, the winds have died down and giving a nice break for all of the firefighters here. There is still three brush fires still going and they are now calling them control burns since they have all of these firefighters from all over here in the West. They want to burn up as much of the fuel that is still out there. To add to that,we had a moderate earthquake around 4:30 in the morning, just a very strong jolt enough to scare the crap out of you for a moment. We get tons of those out here but we know the big one is coming...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF THE OHANA HERE AND HAVE A WONDERFUL FOOTBALL DAY!
On a Sunday,67 years ago today,a very painful chapter in American history was the attack on the U.S. Fleet in port in Pearl Harbor on that unfateful day. The Japanese forces launched a surprise attack on Battleship Row and sunk the USS Arizona,USS Utah and the USS Vestal with minutes and hours of each other. I think,I reflect and I pray for those lost souls, the survivors and their families on this day every year ever since I was first taught about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I hope everyone takes a moment to reflect like I do and say one little silent prayer and pray that something like this never becomes part of our own history or our children's history. The price of our freedom is very evident whenever you visit Pearl Harbor and see the USS Arizona Memorial in Oahu,Hawaii.
Todd was here on New Years Eve...Happy New Years 2009 to all the Ohana here and may all your wishes come true in 2009. Mahalo from my family to yours..
